Tim White & Grandson Andrew

Tim White is without a doubt one of the most talented individuals I know. He's a master banjo picker, comedian and magician who performs regularly with the wonderful Bluegrass group The VW Boys. He is also an engaging radio personality who hosts two very popular Bluegrass Music shows on WGOC AM-640 as well as The Pickin' Porch Show on Thursday nights. Tim's accomplishments have made him a household name in the Birthplace Of Country Music region. In addition to his regular duties as described above, he also co-founded the Birthplace Of Country Music Alliance and painted the now world-famous mural on the side of a three story building on State Street in downtown Bristol, TN-VA. But of all of Tim's accomplishments, the one he is most proud of is becoming a loving grandfather. Today's picture features the Old-Time Music group The Corklickers looking on as grandpa Tim shows Andrew off to an appreciative crowd during last night's Pickin' Porch Show.
