Edwin McCain In Concert

Amy and Gene took this great photo of Vanguard Records recording artist Edwin McCain during a recent live performance in Wilmington, NC. They both had a great time at what they described as the best concert they had ever been to.

Platinum-selling singer/songwriter Edwin McCain is one of the hottest artists on the scene today. Soon after his arrival on the national music scene in 1993, his popularity skyrocketed with the release of the single "I Could Not Ask For More" and the top-10 smash hit "I'll Be". His big break came when "I Could Not Ask For More" was featured in the film "Message in a Bottle", drawing the attention of millions to his music virtually overnight. Today, his band is one of the most sought after acts in the business.

McCain was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina where he developed his unique style of southern soul and acoustic storytelling. His southern roots have greatly influenced his music, and he still remains to true to those roots by writing songs that combine the best traits of blues, soul and rock & roll.
