Daffodils

Information about Daffodils

DaffodilsNarcissus

Type: Perennial

Daffodils are native to the lands around the Mediterranean Sea, mainly southern Europe, northern Africa, and parts of the Middle East. Over the centuries they have been introduced to areas all over the world.

Available in a variety of colors, there is a daffodil for everyone. And the best part is they're easy to grow!

Daffodils prefer slightly acidic, well-drained soil along with plenty of sunshine. They do very well on hillsides and in raised flower beds. Be sure to water your daffodils frequently, especially while they're growing, and be sure to mulch your flower bed.

Daffodils will enhance the beauty of any lawn or garden. You can plant them in the midst of Baby's Breath and other flowers with small blossoms for a nice visual effect.
