We often measure our lives either by the material possessions we have, the achievements we have made (count the number of trophies or certificates you have in your study) or the success of your job or career.
But underneath all this veneer, are we truly happy? Many of us like to remain single because of the freedom it gives. But as we age, we realize that time will soon be merciless to us and we start to wish more and more to find the person we would like to grow old with. The lifetime partner who we can love and serve and who can love us for who we truly are.
Some people try to put a comparison between men and women staying single but, in truth, the feeling of emptiness and an unfulfilled life is the same for both.
