Amy's Beautiful Clematis Blossoms

Clematis Blossoms

No other flowering plant spruces up a garden quite like the clematis. A single clematis vine can produce dozens of colorful blossoms like the ones featured in today's picture, and they're available in a wide variety of colors.

A couple of these beautiful plants climbing up and over an arbor or trellis can add character and beauty to any lawn or garden, especially since they are available with different blooming times. You can actually have a clematis in bloom from the beginning of the growing season till the end of it!

Members of the Ranunculaceae botanical family, clematis are fairly hardy plants that generally do well in most countries of the world. Some varieties cannot stand more than a light frost, however. Most Clematis species will grow up to about eight feet in length, but some will reach at least 30 feet!

If you're looking for that one flowering plant that can add lots of color and character to your garden, you won't go wrong if you choose a clematis!
