The Boohers Bluegrass Band

This photo was taken yesterday evening in downtown Bristol, TN as they performed under the BCMA Country Music Mural on State Street. There is nothing quite like the smooth sounds of family harmonies, and no one does it better than the Boohers. The Booher family along with new addition Rachel Johnson combine flawless vocals with some of the best Bluegrass pickin' you're ever going to hear. Whenever the Boohers are performing in your area you owe it to yourself to catch a show. Bluegrass in Bristol is fast becoming a tradition. In addition to the weekly summertime Tuesday night Bluegrass shows on State Street, the Birthplace Of Country Music Alliance (BCMA) presents the "Pickin' Porch" every Thursday night at the Bristol Mall. The shows are free and they feature some of the very best Bluegrass musicians and groups to be found anywhere. Who knows?
