Amy's Kitten Spike

Today's picture features Amy's playful kitten Spike. When Amy found out that Olivia's cat was going to have kittens, she said she wanted one, and after seeing the litter her choice was clear...Spike! Of course if Olivia could have had her way about it, she would have kept them all. An animal lover extraordinaire, she has never met an animal that she didn't want to keep. In fact, her home is already a mini-zoo! But better judgment won out and Olivia gave away all the kittens except for Daisy. When Amy first took Spike home with her, he immediately became part of the family, fitting right in and making himself at home. Ali, Amy's other cat, wasn't too thrilled with Spike. But Sage took to him like a protective older brother, playing with him, and of course showing him who was boss around here by putting the kitten's entire body in his mouth! Poor Spike stayed dripping wet with saliva for the first few weeks in his new home. Now that Spike has grown a bit and adapted to the family, he does his own bossing around from time to time.
