A "Marching" Seagull At Myrtle Beach, SC

A seagull "marching" down the strand as Myrtle Beach.

My brother and sister-in-law just got back from a long-awaited Myrtle Beach vacation, and they brought back plenty of great photographs with them - including today's picture featuring a lone seagull "marching" down the beach. Like most beaches, Myrtle Beach has plenty of seagulls to keep the vacationers company. Actually, they can even be a little annoying at times! But this little guy wasn't bothering anyone, he was just out looking for a meal.

Over 13 million people visit South Carolina's 60 miles of Grand Strand beaches every year. Myrtle Beach itself is one of the nation's most popular vacation destinations, due largely to the many annual festivals and special events that are held there. Myrtle offers her visitors wide, spectacular white-sand beaches, 100+ world-class golf courses and a superb climate so it's easy to see why so many people who come here once end up coming back again and again. In fact, thousands of people return to the Myrtle Beach area each and every year for a respite from the hassles of work or just to spend a few days in paradise.

Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand are within easy driving distance of much of the eastern United States, so the next time you're in desperate need of an ocean-side getaway just come on down and enjoy the jewel of the east coast...you just might decide you don't want to leave.
