"Lonesome Will" Mullins On The Pickin' Porch Show
Click photo to enlarge
One of my favorite
Bluegrass music performers is
"Lonesome Will"
Mullins, an outstanding young musician, singer and showman
from the mountains of rural Dickenson County, Virginia. Will and his Virginia Playboys
perform at the
Pickin' Porch in
Bristol, Virginia
quite often, and they always put on a very fun and exciting show!
Lonesome Will has an amazing vocal range that spans all the way from
high tenor to deep bass, and he blends it perfectly with his
flawless flat-top guitar and clawhammer banjo work to produce a
unique sound that simply cannot be beat. Add the amazing musical
talents of the Virginia Playboys into the mix and you have a recipe
for great Bluegrass music that's as delicious as it can get.
Will and the guys travel extensively throughout the United
States pickin' and singin', so it's a good bet they'll be up on a
stage near you before long. When they get to your town or anywhere
near it, you owe it to yourself to go and see what all the excitement is
about. "Lonesome Will" Mullins and the Virginia Playboys represent
the rich musical heritage of southwestern Virginia and the
Birthplace Of Country Music region, and they do it extremely well!
