Bug-A-Palüza: Volkswagen Bugs Galore!

During the weekend of April 16-17, East Ridge, Tennessee was invaded by hundreds of bugs - Volkswagen Bugs that is! Yes, Bug-A-Paluza had invaded this tiny Chattanooga suburb! There were old VW Bugs, new VW Bugs, modified VW Bugs, VW motorcycles, VW Vans, VW trucks, VW Bug parts, even a VW rolling shower stall! In short, virtually anything and everything vintage Volkswagen was on display and/or for sale! Volkswagen clubs, groups and shows abound in the United States. Restoring and modifying vintage VW's is a popular and growing hobby. On most any weekend throughout the year there is one or more Volkswagen events taking place somewhere in this country.
