Tim White & Andrew At The Pickin' Porch

After last night's Pickin' Porch Show had come to an end, host Tim White was joined on the stage by his 1 year old grandson Andrew. The VW Boys had just finished performing a long two-hour set of lively Bluegrass music, comedy and magic, but Tim gladly squatted down in order to let Andrew "pick" along with him on a banjo tune. They turned together to face the camera and the result is the "Picture Of The Day". All during the show Andrew had been demonstrating his new (but well-developed) walking skills by going up and down the aisles playing with a balloon and greeting the crowd - and the crowd loved it! Proud grandparents Tim and Penny have been bringing Andrew to the Pickin' Porch ever since he was born, and he has become just as popular with the audience as the wonderful Bluegrass music they come to hear. And as you can see from the picture on the right, he's a natural born performer just like his grandpa! You can enjoy a live performance of The Pickin' Porch Show each and every Thursday night at 7pm at the Bristol Mall's Comfort Systems USA Performance Center. Just take Exit 1 off Interstate 81 in Bristol, Virginia and follow the signs to the Bristol Mall!
