Today's picture features one of the finest and most sincere Southern Gospel singing groups around: The Singing Cookes from Kingsport, TN. A true family group, The Singing Cookes consist of Hubert and Jeanette Cooke, their sons James, Ronny & Donny, and grandson Daniel.

The Cookes perform all over the country, virtually living on the road, but we were lucky enough to catch their 2nd annual June performance at the Joyful Noise Gospel Singing in Meadowview, Va on June 4th. The Joyful Noise Gospel Singing features live performances of Southern Gospel, Bluegrass Gospel and Country Gospel music the first Saturday night of each month. Admission is free!
