In a nutshell, remote access software lets you use a remote PC just as if you
were sitting there in front of it. All you have to do is visit a special website, click
Connect, and then enter your login information. The remote PC's desktop then
appears on your screen! You can check your email, run a program, copy a file -
in fact, you can do anything remotely that you can do at home or in the office!
There are several excellent remote PC access services available, and I have
tried several of them. I now use
GoToMyPC because it's
very easy to set up and use, it works flawlessly, and it's very secure. I have
used it for about 4 years now with no problems whatsoever.
Of course there are other remote access software packages available. Just go on
the web and search Google
and you'll find several excellent choices.
