Windows XP: Change Your Mouse Pointer

How to change your Windows XP mouse pointer

Do you think the default mouse pointer is boring? Are you tired of seeing that annoying hourglass every time the system is busy?

These same old pointers have been with Windows since the beginning, but now you have a choice!

If you're using Windows XP, you can change your mouse pointer to one of dozens that come with the operating system. Here's how:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Control Panel
  3. Double click the mouse icon
  4. Click Pointers
  5. Select a new system scheme from the drop-down menu
  6. Click Ok.
If you aren't happy with your new mouse pointer scheme, you can simply choose another one.

You no longer have to be stuck with the same old mouse pointers that your grandparents used!
