A Beautiful Sky Over San Diego's Mission Beach

God often uses the sky as the canvas for some of His most beautiful artwork, and this amazing photo of the sky over Mission Beach in San Diego, California is a fine example. Of course Mission Beach is gorgeous any time of day, but there is nothing quite like watching the late afternoon sun dance with the clouds. Mission Beach makes up the center section of The Strand, a two mile stretch of golden sand that extends all the way from the entrance to Mission Beach Channel to the northern end of Pacific Beach. In addition to the usual swimming and surfing, the boardwalk is a very popular venue for walking, biking, jogging and other fun activities. Photographer Jessy Parr took this wonderful picture during a recent late afternoon visit to Mission Beach. She describes the scene as being simply breathtaking in person, and the photo sure bears that out!
