Lonesome Will Mullins At The Pickin' Porch
The Pickin' Porch Show
with Tim White
is a popular Bluegrass and Old-Time
Music show that is presented every Thursday night in the Bristol Mall's
Comfort Systems USA Performance Center. This highly entertaining show
features the very best local and national Bluegrass and Old-Time singers and
musicians, and one of the most talented and entertaining young men ever to take
the stage thrilled the audience last night with his booming vocals and masterful
guitar and banjo work.
Lonesome Will Mullins grew up near Clintwood, Virginia in a house that
was filled with family musicians and plenty of Bluegrass, Old-Time and Country
music. He learned to play the banjo and guitar as a teenager, and before long he
was playing in several bands while honing his trade by studying the work of
Bluegrass legends like Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, and Dr. Ralph Stanley. To say
he learned well would be an understatement...Today, Lonesome Will is one of the
most accomplished singers and musicians around.
If you enjoy traditional American music, you're sure to love
Lonesome Will Mullins and his outstanding band The Virginia
Playboys. The great music and fun is non-stop any time
they're on a stage, and you owe it to yourself to get out
and see these young men perform live the first time the
opportunity arises.
