Lightnin' Charlie At The Pickin' Porch

It's one thing to know how to sing. It's quite another to know how to entertain. Lightnin' Charlie Dolinger knows how to do both exceptionally well. Lightnin' Charlie brought his guitar and his smooth, quivering voice onto the Pickin' Porch stage last night and treated the audience to one of the most entertaining musical performances you'll ever see. The Pickin' Porch is famous for its wonderful Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music shows, and Lightnin' Charlie can perform those genres with the best of them. But his shows offer more - lots more! He can go straight from Hank Williams to Marty Robbins to Elvis to Sonny James to Bill Monroe without skipping a beat. Part of the fun of a Lightnin' Charlie show is never knowing what's coming next - but you know it's gonna be great! The Bristol area and the entire Birthplace Of Country Music region is overflowing with talented performers in all musical genres, and Lightnin' Charlie has most of them covered all by himself.
