Grand Canyon Rainbow

It is often said that the Grand Canyon boasts some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet, and today's picture of a rainbow descending into the canyon is a perfect example of that beauty.

Colorful rock formations, billowing clouds and lighting so perfect it could only have been produced by God work together to create an awe-inspiring scene. Add in the rainbow and what we have is the perfect landscape photo!

This picture was taken in Grand Canyon National Park near Mather Point on the south rim of the canyon. The Grand Canyon truly is a magnificent place with numerous vistas just like this one so it's easy to see why Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most visited parks in the world.
