Avian Swim Meet

The bird in the middle must be an official, giving the avian competitors a few last minute instructions. Birds are among the most beloved members of the animal kingdom. I love to hear the sweet sounds of a bird singing coming through an open window on a warm spring morning. And a cold winter day is made just a little more pleasant by the sight of cardinals chowing down at a birdfeeder out on the lawn.
